Questions
Do the downloads have a watermark?+
Photos do not - a slideshow comes back as the original files. Videos do: TikTok stamps its own logo and the creator’s handle into the only stream it publishes, so the watermark is in the file before this tool ever sees it. Nothing is added here.
Can I download from a private account?+
No. Protected posts are only visible to approved followers, and this tool reads nothing that TikTok does not publish openly. Those links return a clear "account is private" message.
Do you store my downloads or my history?+
No. Files stream through the server and are never written to disk, and your recent-links list lives in your own browser’s local storage. Clearing it deletes it - there is no copy anywhere else.
How long can a trimmed clip be?+
Up to five minutes per export. "Exact cut" re-encodes for a frame-accurate result; "fast cut" copies the stream instantly and snaps to the nearest keyframe.
Why does a download sometimes fail when the preview works?+
Some media is licensed by region and that is enforced at the CDN, so a file your own browser can fetch may be refused to this server. When that happens you get a direct link to the original file instead of a silent failure.
Is it OK to download other people’s posts?+
Media on TikTok belongs to whoever made it. Saving something for personal use is generally fine; republishing it, monetising it or passing it off as your own is not. Respect the creator and the platform’s terms.
