A real person reads these. Please include the link you were using and what you expected to happen - it is almost always enough to reproduce a problem.
One address
Everything reaches the same mailbox: a link that will not resolve, a feature request, a question about what we store, a request to exercise a data protection right, or a copyright notice. We aim to reply within a few days, and within 30 days for formal data requests.
Rights holders
Copyright notices go to that same address. Read the Copyright and DMCA Policy first - it explains that we host no media, what a notice needs to contain to be actionable, and how each one is reviewed. There is a form on that page that assembles a complete notice for you and puts it in your own email app, correctly addressed.
Before you write about a failed download
Two causes account for nearly everything we are asked about, and neither is a bug we can fix:
- The account is private. The tool reads only what is published publicly. Protected posts are invisible to it by design.
- The media is licensed by region. Some rights holders, particularly broadcasters, restrict their video by territory and that is enforced at the source. A file your own browser can fetch may be refused to our server. When that happens the tool gives you the direct link instead of failing silently.

SaveThisMedia is an independent project, run by one operator rather than a company. This service is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X, Twitter, Snapchat, or Snap Inc.
